- 2 large sweet potatoes
- 1 apple, peeled and diced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup milk

- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Peel and chop the sweet potatoes into chunks.
- Boil the sweet potatoes in a pot of water until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
- In the last 5 minutes of cooking, add the diced apple to the pot.
- Drain the sweet potatoes and apples, then return them to the pot.
- Add butter, milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt to the pot.
- Mash the mixture until smooth and creamy.
- Serve warm, garnished with a sprinkle of cinnamon if desired.

- For a vegan version, substitute butter with coconut oil and milk with almond milk.
