- 2 large flour tortillas
- 1 large apple, peeled and diced
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
Instructions
- In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the diced apples, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Cook until the apples are tender, about 5 minutes.
- Place one tortilla in the skillet and sprinkle half of the cheese on one half of the tortilla.
- Top the cheese with the apple mixture and then sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.
- Fold the tortilla over and cook until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
- Repeat with the second tortilla.
- Slice into wedges and serve warm.
Notes
- For a healthier option, use whole wheat tortillas.
- Feel free to add nuts or raisins for extra texture.
