  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  2. Stir in cold water, a tablespoon at a time, until mixture forms a ball. Wrap in plastic and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  3. In another bowl, combine diced apples, caramel sauce, and cinnamon.
  4. Roll out dough on a floured surface and cut into circles.
  5. Place a spoonful of the apple mixture in the center of each circle.
  6. Fold the dough over to create a half-moon shape and seal the edges with a fork.
  7. Brush the tops with beaten egg.
  8. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
