Description
A delicious and healthy recipe for turkey burgers made in an air fryer, served with a creamy avocado mayo.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 ripe avocado
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 4 whole wheat burger buns
- Lettuce and tomato for serving
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into 4 equal patties.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the turkey patties in the air fryer basket and cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until cooked through.
- While the burgers are cooking, prepare the avocado mayo by mashing the avocado in a bowl and mixing in mayonnaise and lime juice.
- Once the burgers are done, assemble them on whole wheat buns with lettuce, tomato, and a generous spread of avocado mayo.
Notes
- Ensure the turkey is cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Feel free to add your favorite toppings to the burgers.
- Store any leftover avocado mayo in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
