Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 4 whole wheat burger buns
  • Lettuce and tomato for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into 4 equal patties.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Place the turkey patties in the air fryer basket and cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until cooked through.
  5. While the burgers are cooking, prepare the avocado mayo by mashing the avocado in a bowl and mixing in mayonnaise and lime juice.
  6. Once the burgers are done, assemble them on whole wheat buns with lettuce, tomato, and a generous spread of avocado mayo.
